Creating PdOs for Packaging (1xxx)

Navigate to: Production > Automation > PdO Creation Wizard

You should see the following window:

 

ItemCode       | Enter the item that you are making (1 or other # for Finished Goods)

ItemName      | Will auto fill with the name of the item you chose. Double check that you picked the correct item

Turns             | this column is ONLY used for Mash items (cooks). Keep as 1

Qty                 | Put the quantity the packaging units that you are making

ProdDate       | Put the date that the packaging was completed on

DueDate         | Same date as the day you packaged

FromWhse     | The proofing tank you are packaging from

ToWhse         | FG01 | Finished Good Storage or other warehouse that you store finished product in

POStatus       | Select the release. You can keep in planned status if you are putting it in to plan for the future

Once you have completed filling out the Wizard click the Preview button and review the window that opens. If everything looks correct click Process. The window will then be clear is everything was created successfully
