OBeer Add-On disconnects when I log in

Problem

When logging into OBeer, I get this popup:

If I choose "Restart Add-on", it just keeps popping up and I can't do anything in OBeer.

Solution

This issue is usually caused by missing User Authorizations. The OBeer Add-On requires Full Authorization for 2 sections in the Authorizations window, Customization Tools and Query Generator (Under Reports). Without these Authorizations, the Add-On can't start properly and you will keep getting that System Message.

 

To assign the correct Authorizations, you will go to Administration>System Initialization>Authorizations>General Authorizations. You will then select the user who is seeing the message and change the highlighted rows in this picture to Full Authorization:

 

The user will need to log out, then log back in and the Add-On will start successfully.
